Fictional composite

Love — Elena Morales

Make an honest, freely chosen decision about a shared future without turning love into pressure or avoidance.

Fictional composite. One possible Path for one person at one moment—not a model answer or recommendation.

Path Goal

I want Samir and me to make a clear, freely chosen decision about our shared future—where and how we want to live, what commitment means to each of us, and whether the relationship can support both lives.

Success Evidence

  • We can each name our needs, boundaries, fears, and non-negotiables without using affection, urgency, or sacrifice as leverage.
  • The daily life inside any shared plan remains workable through real shifts, fatigue, and competing responsibilities—not only planned weekends.
  • Any location or transition we choose is based on verified facts and does not require either person to hide an unacceptable cost.
  • We reach two genuine yeses to the same plan—or end respectfully—without pretending that delay, pressure, or uncertainty is agreement.

Current Position

I’m a 33-year-old ER nurse in Chicago. Samir and I have been together for almost three years but do not live together. He may receive a role in Denver, while my rotating shifts, family ties, and professional life are here. We care deeply about each other, but recent conversations have jumped from fear to logistics before either of us has said what we actually need.

Current Move

On Friday, after I have slept following my shift, I’ll ask Samir for a 75-minute needs-before-solutions conversation. For the first half, we will only describe what we want, fear, and must protect; we will not choose a city or ask for promises that evening.
