Methodology

A method for noticing patterns without turning them into verdicts.

telokind separates participation from desired outcomes, grounds reflection in observable evidence, and keeps every category open to revision.

Working principles

What the method promises—and what it refuses to claim.

Two independent maps
Life Roles describe how a person repeatedly participates; Ultimate Goals describe outcomes a life can pursue. A role is not secretly a goal, and a goal is not a personality type.
Evidence before identity
A useful pattern must survive attention, behavior, energy, sacrifice, and counterevidence in ordinary life. Recognition is a starting hypothesis, not a final label.
Composite scenarios, not diagnoses
Guide scenarios are editorial composites designed to make abstract distinctions concrete. They do not identify real people and are never used to infer a clinical condition.
Human confirmation
Deterministic rules may organize an assessment, and AI may explain or suggest, but neither may declare a person's identity or silently change the path they have confirmed.
Visible sources and revision
Every guide carries a source file and content version. Definitions, boundaries, examples, and references can be reviewed and revised without erasing earlier user evidence.
Free access to the core maps
All roles, goals, and the basic path remain readable and usable without a paywall. Commercial features must not manufacture anxiety or withhold the core conclusion.

How to use the atlas

Read, distinguish, test, revise.

  1. Read for resonance. Notice language that names a familiar action or desired result.
  2. Read the boundary. Compare nearby roles or goals before treating a familiar word as a match.
  3. Test in ordinary life. Look for repeated behavior, after-effect, willingness to pay a cost, and counterexamples.
  4. Keep the conclusion editable. A role or goal can change place as evidence and life conditions change.

Content provenance

Guides are versioned editorial sources.

Each detail page is rendered from a structured source guide. Quotations and external references remain attached to the relevant section. Real-life moments are marked as composite scenarios, and the source filename and content version appear at the end of every guide.
